Hard to Love

A near-death experience usually makes many people recall their past, vivid and happy memories. So the protagonist is reliving his most vivid memory - his first love. And so, when the old wounds have not yet healed, and the new ones have not yet healed, the protagonist is forced to return to his parents' house, to his old dysfunctional family. Stuck there, struggling with demons past and present, he wonders about love. Why did the girl he loved abandon him and their shared child? Did she ever love him? Is she still alive and remembering him? Should he move on with his life and try to create something new with someone else? Maybe with the woman he has always looked up to?
