Cell Destruction

In the near future, humanity launched Project “Prometheus' Cage”—a large-scale initiative aimed at enhancing the human body and advancing civilization through the fusion of genetic engineering and artificial intelligence. However, the experiment spiraled completely out of control, and an unknown “collapse factor” leaked from the test samples.
This factor destroyed both organic cells and electronic devices, causing biological mutations and machine malfunctions, which ultimately led to the “Great Collapse.”
Cities lay in ruins, nature was distorted, and science and technology ceased to function. Humanity found itself on the brink of extinction.
The only surviving command AI, “Starkor,” was an artificial intelligence left behind at the original research center. It preserved some of the experimental data and information about the world after the collapse. Using weak radio signals, it establishes contact with the player, one of the few survivors, and helps him find the source of the collapse and a way to reverse the catastrophe. The player is the last surviving modified human, into whose body a factor of resistance to the collapse has been implanted. Even under conditions of extremely high collapse concentration, he can continue to function normally, making him the only being capable of stopping the spread of the catastrophe.
