You are a sheriff on a very, very remote planet.
Your planet is semi-backward. Your government does not control other planets and is not really interested in what lies beyond space.
Because your planet is located somewhere on the very edge of the galaxy, all kinds of criminals flock here in an attempt to find a quiet refuge where no one will look for them.
As a result, crime on your planet has increased significantly.
And you, as sheriff, have been sent to remote cities on your planet for some of your misdeeds, so that you can administer justice there.
